My reading in Celtic spirituality and my time on Iona studying with John O'Donohue, affirmed for me God's goodness and love in the natural world, in my neighbours, and in my own heart.

I like John O'Donohue's prayer:

'O God, you look upon us with tenderness, with compassion, sometimes even with delight.

Help us to look upon ourselves in the same way.'
