We have a wonderful time 'having a go' at all sorts of creative endeavour.  Facilities are provided for sculpture, three dimensional creations, clay, card-making, spinning, banner-crafting, and all manner of other arts and crafts.  In painting we experiment with colour, texture, line and shape in exploring and unlocking our creativity.  While doing so we cover the basics of drawing and painting where appropriate and cater for the more experienced painters as well.  

Facilitators are available to help you try new ventures, or you can just choose an activity and experiment with it to your heart's content.

 You may like to pop in simply to have a look a cup of coffee and enjoy the company. You may have ideas and skills to contribute. If so, please ring Margaret 3526 911. The cost is $2:50 to participate or a coin donation if you are just having coffee. Some activities will have extra costs for materials.

You may have materials you can contribute. We need material scraps, wool, driftwood, shells, Oamaru stone , tiles , wire Drop these in at The Nest during Have a Go hours or at the office.

Creativity, fun and friendship are paramount.  The interaction within the group enables us to gain valuable insights from one another.
